OpenAI has launched OpenAI Deployment Co. (DeployCo), a majority-owned consulting subsidiary with over $4 billion in initial investment to help enterprises build and deploy AI systems. It has also acquired applied-AI firm Tomoro, whose 150 engineers will join DeployCo, partnering with 19 firms including TPG, Bain Capital and Brookfield.
